A growing organization is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Clerk to support its payroll team during a key transition period following the implementation of a new payroll system. This role will assist with certified payroll processing, compliance documentation, and administrative payroll tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting. What You Will Do:

  • Support the calculation and ongoing maintenance of employee payroll data
  • Validate weekly payroll records and apply necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor and maintain payroll-related compliance records and supporting documentation
  • Compile, prepare, and file payroll forms, confirming all employee and authorization documents are completed properly
  • Produce routine payroll reports and enter required data into payroll and compliance systems
  • Collect and log employee work hours for reporting and internal tracking purposes
  • Assist with payroll documentation and final pay processing for departing employees
  • Organize and maintain payroll files to support internal operations, audits, and compliance reviews
  • Complete payroll deduction authorization forms and worker certification documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Distribute final pay stubs to terminated employees in accordance with established policies
  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team, including data entry, document filing, and responding to standard payroll inquiries

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Certified payroll experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with certified payroll platforms is helpful
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working morning hours Monday – Friday
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to maintain accuracy when handling sensitive data and compliance documentation
  • Quick learner who can adapt in a changing, post‑implementation environment
