Palmer Group's client is looking for an Estimator to join their team. Work Model:

• On-Site
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday – Friday

What You Will Do:

• Evaluate architectural drawings and project specifications to determine scope, labor, and material requirements for glass projects
• Produce detailed takeoffs to quantify materials and develop accurate cost estimates
• Review and analyze project bids to ensure competitiveness and alignment with client budgets
• Prepare clear, thorough, and accurate estimates for commercial glass construction projects
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site walkthroughs to gather project information and clarify requirements
• Communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to support efficient bid preparation and submission
• Follow up with contractors and vendors to confirm bid receipt, completeness, and scope accuracy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners to support successful project delivery and uphold company values

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, or a related field
• 1-5 years of relevant estimating experience, ideally in commercial glass or related fields
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and construction specifications
• Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards
• Experience attending pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and vendors
• Prior experience in estimating for commercial glazing or similar projects
• Experience with construction management software or estimating tools
• Strong math, measurement, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Flexibility to work additional hours as projects demand
