Part-time Accountant

This Part-Time Accountant role is designed to provide hands-on support across day-to-day accounting functions within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. You’ll partner closely with a Senior Accountant, helping manage core accounting responsibilities and keep processes running smoothly. Work Model:

• On-Site
• 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

What You Will Do:

• Support GL activity, including preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Assist with the month-end close, including gathering data and supporting financial reporting
• Help prepare financial statements such as balance sheets and profit & loss reports
• Provide day-to-day accounting support and collaborate with the Senior Accountant on priorities
• Assist with audit preparation, documentation, and ad hoc reporting needs
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency within accounting workflows

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• 2-4+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of operational accounting
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaborative
