Microsoft 365 Engineer

We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to manage and support enterprise Microsoft 365 environments across a multi-tenant infrastructure for our client. This role will focus on Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, cross-tenant collaboration, escalated troubleshooting, and ongoing platform optimization within a managed IT environment. Work Model:

• Hybrid (3 days onsite)

What You Will Do:

• Serve as a Global Administrator across the Microsoft 365 platform,  including Exchange Online, Defender, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, Purview, and OneDrive for Business
• Administer and enhance Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) environments and cross-tenant collaboration
• Oversee lifecycle and endpoint provisioning using Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Entra ID
• Complete advanced troubleshooting using PowerShell, Microsoft admin centers, Purview, and Microsoft Graph
• Support IT Operations with technical expertise on infrastructure and platform initiatives
• Troubleshoot user access and cloud service issues through resolution and validation
• Implement platform enhancements following change management best practices
• Maintain technical documentation and internal knowledge base resources

What You Will Need to Be Successful:​​​​​​

• At least 5 years of experience in IT
• At least 3 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments with Global Administrator responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Exchange Online
  • Purview
  • Defender
  • Entra ID
  • Intune
  • SharePoint Online
  • Teams
  • OneDrive
• Experience supporting multiple Microsoft 365 tenants in MSP, multi-client, or MTO environments
• Strong understanding of messaging, mail flow, and email security platforms such as Proofpoint
• Microsoft 365-native endpoint management (Entra-joined devices, Intune MDM, Windows Autopilot) (preferred)
• Experience with cross-tenant access, B2B sync, and tenant segmentation strategies (preferred)
• Experience with Administrative Units, Scope Tags, Address Book Policies, and security group management (preferred)
• Experience working independently in fast-paced technical environments with strong ownership and accountability (preferred)
