We are partnering with a stellar organization to add to their team of Customer Service Associates, serving as the primary point of contact for external and internal customers. In this role, you will assist customers with their questions, providing compassionate, accurate, and professional support. What You Will Do:
- Answer inbound phone calls to address client questions and inquiries
- Assist customers with claim status inquiries, billing concerns, website enrollment, and account maintenance
- Investigate and resolve claims, referrals, authorizations, and coverage-related issues
- Document customer interactions accurately and update customer information in company systems
- Utilize multiple computer applications and databases to research and provide accurate information
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve complex customer issues
- Deliver a positive, customer-focused experience during every interaction
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of customer service experience in a retail or call center
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent active listening and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- A patient, empathetic, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to remain calm and professional when assisting members with complex concerns
- Strong multitasking skills and comfort navigating multiple systems
- Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and service excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
