Real Estate Closer

Palmer Group has partnered with a prestigious Urbandale law firm looking to hire a Real Estate Closer. Our client is searching for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience in real estate closing and experience working with disbursements through the closing process. Responsibilities:

• Complete real estate escrow transactions
• Handle disbursement of funds
• Obtain clear title through ordering title reports, resolving title defects, and satisfying existing liens
• Complete calculation by prorating taxes and interest
• Completes closing by recording and filing documents
• Prepares Closing Disclosures

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of real estate closing experience in a law firm or settlement agency
• Knowledge of disbursements through the closing process
• Ability to work independently
• Strong Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to read a purchase agreement, abstract, and title opinions
