Industrial Electrician – 1st and 2nd Shift

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician – 1st and 2nd Shift to join their team. This position involves facilities maintenance as well as machine and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and PLC ladder logic. They will be capable of reading and understanding electrical schematics, troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, and working collaboratively in a team environment with a strong desire to learn and grow.

What you will do:

• Perform maintenance on electrical systems of a wide variety of machinery and equipment, ranging from 400 volts to low-voltage circuits
• Participate in projects involving facility changes, which require power delivery to new and existing machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately
• Work effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and technologies related to electrical systems and maintenance

What you will need to be successful:

• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and PLC ladder logic
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, and proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
• 2-year degree in electrical or electronics is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Desire to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies
• Previous experience in an industrial setting preferred
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and best practices preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
