What you will do:

• Conduct legal research, drafting, and case preparation
• Support client matters in areas such as business law, contracts, real estate, employment, estate planning, or civil litigation
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, memos, and correspondence
• Participate in client meetings, depositions, and administrative hearings as appropriate
• Manage case files and deadlines with precision and professionalism
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
• Contribute to firm development through thought leadership, marketing, or community engagement

What you will need to be successful:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Iowa
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Interest in building expertise in non-criminal practice areas
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client service
