A global industrial leader known for designing and manufacturing highly specialized vehicles and equipment is looking for a Design Technician. This position will support engineers with drawing layouts by utilizing computer-aided drafting software. This role will also be responsible for creating new and modified components in accordance to their high standards. Work model:  
  • On-Site
  • 7:00AM – 4:00PM
  • Monday – Friday

What you will do:

  • Update current drawings, given direction from engineering; re-master CAD drawings to the current format
  • Utilize computer-aided drafting systems to develop both 2D and 3D layouts, under the direction of members of the design team
  • Monitor your own work to guarantee organization and accuracy, dimension and tolerance convention, and compliance with CAD specifications and standards
  • Create part numbers following the proper naming procedure and data entry requirements using ERP systems

What you will need to be successful: 

  • Associate degree
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
