Mechanical Engineer

The team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to this legacy of innovation and performance. This role will play a key part in developing, refining, and validating mechanical systems and components that meet rigorous performance, durability, and safety standards. Work model:

• On-Site
• 7:00AM – 4:00PM
• Monday – Friday

What you will do:

• Perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned, as well as general industry engineering standards and processes
• Support senior engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reporting
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues
• Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
• Performs and directs the preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material
• Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements
• Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering and communicate status via verbal or written communication

What you will need to be successful:

• Must have at least 6 months to a year of current experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, along with Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems
• Experience with a high-level CAD system
