CNC Programmer

They are seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and optimize programs for machining aluminum and magnesium castings. You’ll interpret engineering drawings, select tooling, and ensure compliance with strict specifications while collaborating with machinists and engineers to support precision manufacturing for critical aerospace components. What you will do:

• Create CNC programs for milling, drilling, and turning operations on high-precision parts
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Choose tooling, speeds, and feeds appropriate for aluminum and magnesium materials
• Validate programs through simulation and first-piece inspection; make adjustments as needed
• Work with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot programming or machining problems
• Maintain documentation of programs and revisions per industry and certification standards
• Support machine setup and assist with troubleshooting when required
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for machining processes and cycle time reduction

What you will need to be successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or CNC coursework preferred
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior work experience with aluminum and/or magnesium component machining is preferred
