They are currently seeking a driven Business Development Representative to build relationships, open new markets, and accelerate growth in this key region.

The Business Development Representative will uncover new opportunities, create strategic partnerships, and drive sales of the client's structural products and solutions across the East Coast. What you will do:

  • Design and implement a regional sales strategy to grow market share throughout the East Coast
  • Discover, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with contractors, architects, developers, and industrial clients
  • Create and foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry partners
  • Complete product demonstrations, presentations, and onsite visits
  • Partner with project management, engineering, and operations teams to deliver customized solutions
  • Monitor pipeline activity, prepare forecasts, and share progress with leadership
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Offer market insights to assist in product development and competitive positioning

What you will need to be successful:

  • 3-7 years of experience in business development or outside sales in industrial products, construction materials, structural systems, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success selling into industrial or commercial markets
  • Extensive knowledge of structural applications, construction processes, or engineered products
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel as needed and oversee a large geographic territory
  • Driven, goal-focused, and comfortable working independently
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
