Palmer Group is proud to partner with a leading industrial construction firm in search of a skilled Superintendent to join their dynamic field operations team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead complex, nationwide projects from the ground up—overseeing everything from steel erection and equipment installation to safety and schedule management. What you will do:

• Lead industrial construction projects from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality standards
• Direct and supervise both internal millwright teams and subcontractors on-site
• Manage steel structure assembly and equipment installation with precision and efficiency
• Uphold rigorous safety standards and maintain full compliance with OSHA regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical plans to guide field execution
• Collaborate closely with engineering, automation, and client teams to ensure seamless project integration
• Ensure all work adheres to applicable building codes and internal company standards
• Oversee the logistics of tools, materials, and equipment to support smooth operations
• Contribute to layout planning and support the integration of facility and equipment systems

What you will need to be successful:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction management, field supervision, or superintendent-level roles
• Proven expertise in steel erection and industrial equipment installation
• NCCCO Crane Operator certification is highly desirable
• OSHA 30-Hour certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical construction documents
• Experience using construction management platforms; ProCore familiarity is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
• Willing and able to travel full-time on a 10-day-on / 4-days-off rotation
• Valid certifications for operating industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, boom lift)
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a strong asset
