Project Engineer

Our client, a well‑established organization, is seeking a Project Engineer to support project execution and growth efforts. This role offers hands‑on learning alongside experienced project managers, providing exposure to all phases of project planning and coordination. With a wide range of responsibilities – from site visits and client interaction to subcontractor coordination and internal planning – no two days are the same. What You Will Do: 

• Contribute to sales and business development activities by assisting with design input, material selection, estimating, and preparation of proposals, scope letters, and contracts
• Take part in business unit planning sessions, performance reviews, and strategic discussions to support team objectives
• Support day‑to‑day project coordination and administrative tasks, including reviewing scope, tracking budgets, applying value engineering concepts, monitoring quality, sequencing work, and managing procurement and change orders
• Assist with sourcing subcontractors and tracking their installation quality and schedule adherence

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Four-year degree in engineering or construction management
• 0-1 years of experience, including internships
• Ability to assist with estimating and inspecting work to verify compliance with plans and specifications
• Drive to develop strong knowledge of company operations, trade best practices, work standards, job cost history, contract status, and job overview reporting
• Growing skills in customer relationship management, billing coordination with accounting, and ensuring high‑quality project execution
