Palmer Group's client is seeking a versatile, technically proficient Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend and integration background to join their team. This is an opportunity to work with a complex enterprise environment supporting retail, e‑commerce, inventory, and customer-facing systems. The role centers on backend development, database design, ERP customization, and platform integrations, with meaningful exposure to automation and AI-enabled workflows.

What You Will Do:

  • Architect, build, and support backend services using Python, prioritizing reliability and performance
  • Design and tune SQL queries, schemas, and procedures to support transactional and reporting needs
  • Customize and extend NetSuite using SuiteScript (2.x), workflows, and saved searches
  • Implement and maintain REST and SOAP APIs to enable system-to-system communication
  • Configure and support integration processes using Dell Boomi, connecting ERP, e‑commerce, WMS, and POS systems
  • Develop automated workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
  • Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and enable intelligent automations
  • Partner with stakeholders across business and technology teams to translate requirements into solutions
  • Diagnose and resolve issues spanning databases, integrations, and application logic
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for systems, APIs, and integrations
  • Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement of development standards

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong independent problem-solver with solid communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Able to manage multiple systems and priorities while maintaining high code quality and documentation standards
  • Curious, adaptable, and proactive in adopting new tools, automation, and process improvements
  • Backend-focused development experience with Python and relational databases
  • Hands-on ERP and integration work, including NetSuite (SuiteScript, APIs, workflows) and REST/SOAP services
  • Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Dell Boomi and Git-based version control
  • Familiarity with API authentication, automation concepts, and AI-assisted development tools
  • Preferred exposure to enterprise or retail technology environments, cloud platforms, data integration, and AI-driven automation
