Palmer Group has partnered with our client in their search for a SharePoint Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will support users in migrating to a new SharePoint environment, providing guidance and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth transition. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of SharePoint administration experience, as well as proficiency with content organization and migration, PowerShell scripting, and Power Automate. What you will do:

  • Assist users in migrating applications to a new SharePoint environment
  • Provide guidance on modern SharePoint pages, libraries, and lists
  • Provide education regarding navigating the new platform following migration
  • Respond to questions and perform troubleshooting for user issues during the transition
  • Support intranet data migration logistics from the user perspective
  • Assist in organizing content within the new SharePoint Online environment
  • Assist users in the adoption of modern SharePoint pages vs. classic pages
  • Mentor users on lists and libraries' best practices
  • Create ad-hoc automation for business users
  • Remove heavy manual processes through small scripting solutions
  • Support repeatable content, workflows, permissions, and routine tasks

What you will need to be successful:

  • 2-3 years of SharePoint Online administration experience
  • Proficiency with modern SharePoint pages, libraries, and lists
  • Experience with content organization and migration
  • Ability to provide user support and training
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint automation (ad-hoc needs)
  • Understanding of PnP PowerShell for bulk operations (metadata, site updates, permissions)
  • Proficiency with SharePoint Site Designs and Site Scripts for templating
  • Understanding of Power Automate for workflow automation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain clearly to non-technical users
  • Proficiency with VBScript or something similar for small automation tasks (preferred)
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) (preferred)
