We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to support our quarterly and annual financial close processes and contribute to the preparation of SEC filings, financial statements, and executive‑level presentations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with external auditors, assist in enhancing reporting processes, and participate in actuarial and cross‑functional discussions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What you will do:

  • Assist with quarterly close activities, including reconciliations and financial statement analyses
  • Prepare and review Form 10‑Q, Form 10‑K, XBRL updates, and other SEC filings using Workiva
  • Support external audits and assist with proxy statement preparation
  • Contribute to process improvements and complete other assigned tasks

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; internship experience is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SEC filings, Workiva, and enterprise ledger systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Insurance or annuity industry knowledge is a plus
  • Understanding of life and annuity financial statements, regulatory environment, and SEC reporting rules
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to work with XBRL taxonomies and financial reporting tools
