Our client requires a contract Human Resources Generalist to support their team during a period of transition. This role will focus heavily on employee relations, including managing leave of absence requests, guiding performance improvement plans, and leading crucial workplace conversations with care and clarity. The right candidate will be comfortable partnering with supervisors, coaching leaders through sensitive situations, and helping maintain a fair and consistent employee experience. What You Will Do:

  • Oversee employee relations matters such as leave requests, performance improvement efforts, and sensitive workplace conversations
  • Collaborate with supervisors to identify performance challenges and guide them through corrective action steps
  • Uphold adherence to organizational policies and employment laws
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding activities for new hires each Thursday and Friday
  • Lead new hire orientation sessions and ensure all required documents are completed
  • Act as a primary HR resource for employees and leadership teams
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and assist with HR reporting and data needs

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Previous experience working in a human resources generalist or comparable human resources position
  • Solid understanding of employee relations practices and leave administration
  • Ability to safeguard confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong communication abilities and effective conflict‑resolution skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (highly preferred)
  • Capability to work on-site in a warehouse environment
