Our client is searching for a Billing, Credentialing, & Administrative Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior medical billing experience, knowledge of requirements for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers, and proficiency in claims resolution.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage billing operations and support the Mental Health Counseling program administratively
  • Process insurance claims, post payments, and resolve denials
  • Oversee accounts receivable
  • Prepare client statements, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and payer rules
  • Oversee credentialing, recredentialing, licensure records, EDI enrollments, and CAQH maintenance for appropriate reimbursement
  • Assist with administrative and front-desk duties, including answering calls, managing intake, welcoming visitors, scheduling, maintaining counseling records, collecting payments, verifying insurance, entering data into the EHR, and coordinating billing
  • Complete filing, supply management, event management, mail handling, correspondence, and staff orientation

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with medical billing and credentialing
  • Proficiency with requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
  • Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA compliance, claims resolution, and insurance verification
  • Outstanding problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
