We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Account Customer Service Specialist to support our client's commercial insurance operations. This role plays a key part in servicing client accounts, processing policy changes, coordinating with multiple carriers, and ensuring exceptional customer support. What You Will Do:

  • Set up and bill premium financing
  • Handle commercial lines service calls from customers with professionalism and accuracy
  • Process and submit change requests to multiple insurance carriers
  • Enter new prospects into the agency management system and submit applications for quoting
  • Submit existing customer accounts to additional carriers for comparative quotes
  • Process renewals and update the management system with current information
  • Manage cancellations in accordance with carrier guidelines
  • Process Excess & Surplus Lines new and renewal business
  • Generate certificates of insurance in CSR24 as needed
  • Review and prioritize daily activities, including urgent items and carrier requests
  • Review and respond to emails daily, processing or routing them to the appropriate team members

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong customer-facing or client service experience within an office environment
  • Prior insurance experience—especially in property & casualty, life, or health insurance—is a plus
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate professionally with policyholders, carriers, and internal teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining policy details, next steps, and escalations
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Reliable follow-through to ensure all client requests, policy changes, and carrier updates are completed accurately
