Are you looking to contribute to Cedar Rapids' outstanding growth? We seek a safety-focused professional to join our industry-leading, employee-owned client as a Field Safety Manager. Candidates for this role must be self-starters and effective communicators. This role also offers 100% paid benefits. 

Work model:

  • On-Site

What will you do:

  • Perform inspections and safety surveys
  • Compose written reports and make recommendations based on your findings
  • Provide the safety director with guidance on safety compliance issues and preventative measures
  • Develop and conduct training for employees regarding worksite safety procedures
  • Perform post-accident investigations and write reports when needed
  • Design, support, and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and DOT
  • Support the creation, assessment, and upgrading of safety programs

What you will need to be successful:

  • 3+ years of experience in a safety role
  • Experience in OSHA, First Aid/CPR, and Confined Spaces
  • CHST or CSP is highly preferred
  • Excellent computer, communication, and training skills
  • An active driver's license is required to drive company vehicles to job sites
