Our client is looking for a proactive, relationship‑driven Sales Support Associate to support and strengthen our existing merchant processing portfolio, with a special focus on our top 30 high‑volume merchants. In this role, you’ll blend sales, service, problem‑solving, data analysis, and negotiation to ensure merchants stay engaged, satisfied, and supported.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct inbound and outbound outreach addressing rate evaluations, account terminations, equipment recoveries, and early termination fees
  • Guide merchants through account reinstatement and selection of payment solutions, including mobile, recurring web, and integrated software options
  • Resolve escalated or sensitive customer situations with tact, empathy, and confidence
  • Apply strong knowledge of company products and processes to inform merchants and deepen long‑term relationships
  • Engage merchants proactively to assess needs, foster rapport, and negotiate mutually advantageous resolutions proactively
  • Review and analyze monthly reporting for top 30 high‑volume accounts to detect early signs of attrition
  • Work closely with the Marketing Data Analyst to uncover risks and prevent potential account losses
  • Keep internal ticketing and memo systems updated with accurate, timely information
  • Ensure all merchant communications and outcomes are thoroughly and consistently documented

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • High school diploma required
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to work across multiple systems
  • Excellent organization, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle difficult customer situations and stay calm under pressure
  • Strong negotiation abilities and a solutions‑focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • High level of confidentiality
