Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and collaborative Grant Accountant to support the financial management of Title‑funded programs. In this role, you will ensure all grant-related financial activities are accurate, compliant, and aligned with federal, state, and district requirements. This position plays a key role in supporting our mission by providing strong financial stewardship of federal resources. What You Will Do:

  • Examine and confirm the Title program financial activity to ensure adherence to funding guidelines
  • Construct Title budgets and coordinate with Human Resources to align staffing assignments
  • Compile and complete mandated state, federal, and district reports, including CASA, CAR, ACFR, and monthly claims
  • Oversee budget activity, conduct account reconciliations, evaluate expenditure trends, and propose funding realignments
  • Function as the primary fiscal contact for district and non-public administrators on permissible expenses
  • Maintain accurate Title account structures in compliance with Iowa Department of Education reporting standards
  • Authorize and process workflow submissions connected to Title-funded programs

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field
  • 3+ years of experience in general ledger and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
