What You Will Do:

  • Provide financial guidance to complex, high-priority clients
  • Interpret financial data and advise on key business decisions
  • Build and oversee advanced reporting such as cash flow projections, budgets, financial models, profitability analysis, and KPI dashboards
  • Identify financial risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
  • Present insights to business owners and leadership teams.
  • Support clients with financial strategy, scalability, and operational improvements
  • Partner with the finance manager to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial work
  • Maintain high standards for reporting accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Review complex accounting treatments and ensure proper transaction coding
  • Oversee month‑end and year‑end processes for priority clients
  • Implement internal controls and quality assurance procedures
  • Train and mentor the finance team in bookkeeping, coding, financial statements, and workflow management
  • Develop standardized processes and best practices
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance support
  • Promote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the team

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience
  • Prior experience in cash flow management, financial modeling, and complex reporting
  • Experience serving small or mid‑sized businesses, ideally in a public accounting environment
  • Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams
  • Advanced GAAP knowledge
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent professionalism, accountability, and integrity
