Accounts Receivable Specialist

What You Will Do:

• Review and validate ERC check uploads and customer invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with offshore teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure consistency
• Distribute customer invoices promptly, including all relevant payment details
• Post daily customer payments and reconcile cash collections to maintain accurate financial records
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and support other departments with account-related inquiries
• Communicate regularly with the accounting team to address posting issues and ensure smooth operations
• Manage customer payment plans, including reviewing requests, issuing contracts, and monitoring adjustments
• Assess tax data to determine invoice eligibility and support lien placement and termination processes
• Analyze complex customer issues, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements
• Prepare escalation reports and contribute to customer service training and best practices
• Participate in special projects to enhance customer experience and improve collection efficiency
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role
• Strong understanding of AR processes, financial recordkeeping, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel; HubSpot experience preferred
