Information Technology Specialist

Our Mt. Pleasant client is seeking an experienced, service‑focused Information Technology Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support. This role will install, manage, and maintain a variety of different technologies. They will also be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, troubleshooting technical issues, and completing work orders using root-cause analysis. Apply now to be considered!

What You Will Do:

• Install, configure, image, and maintain PCs, cameras, switches, servers, wireless systems, security systems, kiosks, VoIP/phone systems, II TV systems, email, OffNet systems, and other technology
• Provide troubleshooting for technical issues with PCs, wireless equipment, PDAs, switches, and security/safety devices
• Complete wireless deployment, cabling, fiber management, fiber optic work, and hardware replacements
• Manage security cameras, recording systems, door controls, and safety equipment
• Act as the main technical contact for hardware and software problems
• Give excellent customer service to staff members, stakeholders, and incarcerated individuals
• Develop and complete work orders, using root-cause analysis to create solutions
• Perform data analysis to create solutions for operational needs
• Remain up-to-date with emerging technologies by participating in training
• Move and install computer hardware as needed

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Proficiency with computers, fiber optics, wireless, networking, safety systems, security hardware, phone systems, and recording systems
• Ability to collaborate with co-workers, facility leadership, external partners, and end users
• Consistent compliance with all security regulations and life-safety guidelines
