The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with project leadership, field teams, and external partners, this role helps drive adherence to schedule, cost control, and quality and safety performance. What You Will Do:

  • Support project planning, scheduling and coordination from start to finish
  • Maintain and organize project logs and documentation, including submittals RFIs and change orders
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Monitor project progress costs and timelines and provide regular updates
  • Assist with meetings, documentation communication and review of drawings and specifications for compliance
  • Support quality control field oversight, safety practices and project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover packages

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • 3+ years of construction project management or related experience
  • Degree in construction engineering or related field preferred
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors' schedules and workflows
  • Proficiency with Procore, Sage and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
