Our client is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative to join their Flagstaff, Arizona sales team. Work Model:
- On-Site
- Less than 50% local travel flexibility
- Occasional evenings/weekends
What You Will Do:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by connecting with builders, contractors, and homeowners while fostering strong, lasting relationships
- Grow and strengthen a personal portfolio of accounts by nurturing existing clients and expanding a trusted network of partners
- Deliver and close customized solutions by preparing proposals, recommending products, and aligning pricing and terms with customer needs
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring clear communication, safe practices, and an exceptional customer experience throughout
- Analyze and anticipate industry shifts by monitoring competitor activity, market changes, and product developments to provide strategic insights
- Drive financial performance by meeting sales goals, supporting collection efforts, and contributing feedback to support business decisions
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- 3+ years of outside sales experience in construction, building products, or a related industry
- High school diploma (required), bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a book of business, with strong industry relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, paired with a goal-driven, self-motivated, and resourceful mindset
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications, provide recommendations for solutions, and manage projects from sale through completion
- Familiarity with construction products and market dynamics
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic technology
