Accounting Analyst II

Palmer Group is partnering with a well-established organization in their search for an Accounting Analyst II. We are searching for a candidate who is a natural leader and can bring at least two years of experience. Responsibilities:

• Analyze project data, compute actual to budget variances as well as preparing project reports to assist the field
• Monitor and refine policies related to project creation, project management and completion
• Automate and maintain the project life cycle process in Oracle Financials, including policies and procedures
• Review and track internal labor using Ceridian time and attendance
• Track, manage, and ensure owner contribution funding is received and processed timely
• Refine and automate the process of tracking internal labor using Ceridian time and attendance
• Prepare project and fixed asset related journal entries
• Process project creation requests
• Assist in the month-end fixed assets close process and reconciliations
• Perform other duties associated with capital expense and fixed asset as required or directed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role
• Strong Excel skills
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
