Architectural Associate

Palmer Group has partnered with an industry leader with a strong local presence and community ties. They’re looking to hire a new Architectural Associate who will collaborate with a team and share their ideas. With a strong emphasis on client relationships, we are targeting service-based architects that bring new ideas to the table. Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with the design team to develop and refine architectural concepts, 3D models, and visualizations
• Assist in project coordination, including liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
• Produce accurate and detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Stay up-to-date with architectural trends, building codes, materials, and construction methods
• Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure design intent is being realized
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects 
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and project records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution
• Licensure as a registered architect or working towards obtaining it
• 3+ years of experience in an architectural role
• Proficiency in architectural software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design and conceptual skills, with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and sustainability principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow within the architectural field
