Audit and Technical Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Support and evaluate new accounting standards and complex transactions by researching, documenting and communicating accounting implications
• Provide external audit support for Investment and third party communities
• Assist with the audit planning, preparation, review and response to auditor’s questions and comments
• Assist with establishing standards and procedures for monitoring  audit deadlines and results
• Prepare or reviews audit reports
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting & Financial Reporting teams on audit requests and issues
• Support operations to aid in business decisions related to audit, quality control, and best practices of assigned communities
• Perform internal control desk/site audits develops and monitors action plans
• Update and/or create policies, procedures and reporting tools
• Present at conferences and trainings
• Complete special projects, as requested, or assigned

Requirements:

• Four year degree in accounting
• 2-4 years of related experience
• CPA with active license is required
