Building Controls Commissioning Agent

Responsibilities:

• Perform design reviews of project documents for conformance with design requirements 
• Create functional performance test procedures for building systems 
• Perform field inspections, witness equipment startups, and test and balance activities
• Verify and tune systems by performing field functional performance testing with contractors
• Prepare deliverables, including technical reports, Cx reports, system manuals, assessments, and LEED documentation 
• Perform the technical quality, accuracy, and managerial aspects of Cx projects
• Create and maintain positive, professional working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering or HVAC field experience
• Controls or commissioning work experience
• Understanding of Cx requirements, including test and balance, electrical systems, life safety systems, energy audits, and HVAC controls
• Desire to lead client meetings
