Business Development Manager – Agriculture

Our client in the technology industry is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their Agriculture division. The ideal candidate will have professional experience within the agriculture sector, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving growth. Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the agriculture industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for expansion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies
• Lead the development and execution of sales plans to achieve revenue targets
• Stay informed about industry regulations, market conditions, and technological advancements
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and partners
• Negotiate and finalize business agreements, contracts, and partnerships
• Provide insights and feedback to improve products and services based on market needs
• Travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and build a strong network

Requirements:

• Professional experience working in the ag industry is required
• Technology experience and knowledge is preferred.
• Strong understanding of agriculture industry trends, challenges, and opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop effective strategies
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Existing network of contacts in the agriculture industry is a plus
