Client Services Agent

Palmer Group is partnering with our financial client in their search for a Client Services Agent. Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for clients daily, managing inbound connections from existing clients, new customers, insurance company representatives, vendors, and third-party business partners 
• Review client portfolios, analyze changes made by the insurance company, and contact customers to provide input, guidance, and recommendations
• Respond to inquiries from prospective new customers
• Provide education about Personal Lines coverages
• Assist prospective clients with evaluating options and purchasing new insurance policies
• Follow up as needed to engage and onboard new clients successfully
• Respond quickly to customers when a loss or accident is reported and prioritize claims assistance over many other activities
• Assist customers in filing insurance claims and explaining the steps in the process
• Advise customer about when not to file an insurance claim
• Follow up to ensure that the customer’s needs have been resolved
• Take the appropriate steps to update the client’s policy, if changes are needed as a result of a claim

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
• 5+ years of experience within the insurance industry in service, claims, underwriting, or other front-line roles
• 3-5 years of professional experience
• Property and Casualty license in good standing
• Additional industry designations such as CIC or CPCU, preferred
• Unlicensed candidates who are otherwise qualified, completion of Property & Casualty and Life & Health license programs will be required within 30 days of start

Work Model:

• Open to on-site, hybrid, or remote options 
• Monday – Friday 
• 30 Hours Per Week
