Our local, well-established client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a newly created position within their organization. Qualified candidates should have expertise with Mastercam and be able to drive this change within the shop floor. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models
- Drive conversion from outdated programming software to Mastercam programming software
- Use Mastercam to program 4 axis and 5 axis mills
- Write efficient programs and modify existing ones to improve efficiency
- Train new staff on machine operation procedures
Requirements:
- Technical Degree in CNC Programming or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of proven experience programming and setting-up HASS Mills and Lathes
- Proven leadership abilities
- Technical Expertise with Mastercam programming software
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints
- Project Management abilities strongly desired
