Our West Des Moines client is looking to hire a Commercial Insurance Client Services Coordinator for their team. This role requires a property and casualty license. Responsibilities:
- Service Commercial lines insurance, including Property and Casualty
- Contact clients and client leads to recommend appropriate insurance and place coverage
- Identify and cover additional risk exposures by conducting annual coverage reviews
- Confer and negotiate with carrier underwriters on behalf of clients and remarket when necessary
- Execute account quotes, applications, endorsements, binders, and renewals
- Build, foster, and maintain professional relationships with clients and prospects
Requirements:
- Must possess a Property and Casualty license or be willing to obtain one in the first months
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience and knowledge
- 4+ years of successful Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines insurance experience
- Knowledge of all Commercial Lines insurance, insurance agency operations, coverage, rates, markets, and applicable insurance laws/codes/regulations
- Working knowledge of risk assessment and risk management techniques
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
Work Model:
- On-Site
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00AM – 4:30PM or 8:30AM – 5:00PM
