Community Reinvestment Act Director

We have partnered with this reputable client to fill the Community Reinvestment Act Director position. In this role, you will develop, implement, and administer all aspects of the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and administer all aspects of the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program
• Build and maintain relationships with community-based, charitable, and non-profit organizations
• Implement programs to ensure the Bank meets the needs of the community and attains CRA compliance goals and a Satisfactory or better CRA regulatory rating with federal CRA regulations
• Work closely and advising Senior Management of any CRA issues 
• Serve as chairperson on the Bank’s CRA Committee
• Research, analyze, and interpret CRA regulations and statutes and implement changes to policies and procedures
• Act as the liaison with external CRA compliance auditors, examiners, and regulators
• Ensure compliance with CRA data collection, reporting, and disclosure requirements
• Track and report CRA performance
• Provide CRA training to employees, management, and Board
• Identify opportunity for CRA Investments, Donations, and Community Development Loans and Services

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in a lead CRA position within a financial institution
• Reside within 30 miles of branch location
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prepare documents, compose letters, policies, and procedures
• Strong collaboration skills 
• Self-started and able to work independently
