Compliance Accountant

A growing company is looking for a Compliance Accountant to join their team. This team member could opt to work in an office or hybrid. If you are a motivated self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment, apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate financial statements and filings with Finance and Legal departments
• Complete filing of insurance regulatory reports
• Prepare quarterly reports and research accounts as needed
• Manage certificate of authority, certificate of deposit, and compliance for multiple states
• Complete all reports and filings accurately and within deadlines
• Ensure checklists and calendars are maintained and communicated
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience
• High-level attention to detail and organizational skills
• Progressive accounting experience within the insurance industry
• Compliance experience preferred
• Work well both independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication abilities
