Construction Project Engineer

Attention Project Engineers! Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Project Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be crucial in assisting in the oversight and execution of project operations, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations, and contributing to the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects
• Ensure project objectives are met by coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Prepare and maintain project documentation
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, as well as the evaluation of subcontractor bids
• Collaborate with project managers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel and subcontractors
• Assist in the preparation of project estimates and proposals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
• 1+ year of experience in construction projects, administration, or related experience/education
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera preferred)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
