Consulting Controller

Palmer Group is partnering with our client in their search for a Consulting Controller. This individual will play an important role in managing financial operations. you will handle construction draws, act as a bank liaison, track lien waivers, and oversee cash flow. Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the full lifecycle of construction draws, guaranteeing accurate documentation and timely submission to the bank
• Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure project milestones and manage project budgets 
• Facilitate communication with the bank regarding financial transactions, loan disbursements, and project funding
• Maintain a complete record of lien waivers
• Manage cash flow, monitor income funds, and allocate funds appropriately
• Oversee the accounting team and provide leadership and training 
• Utilize Sage software for financial tracking, reporting, and analysis 

Requirements: 

• 7+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
• Strong software experience, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven leadership abilities
