Continuous Improvement Buyer

A manufacturer in the Des Moines area is searching for a Continuous Improvement Buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have SAP Experience. To learn more about this position, apply today!



Responsibilities:

• Support Supply Management tasks for multiple commodities
• Work on Engineering change requests and submit RFQs to suppliers
• Work with engineers, manufacturing engineers, and program managers to obtain EAU and prints when not available
• Follow up with suppliers to return quotes, analyze quotes, and make recommendations on supplier selection
• Assist in Direct Material Cost Reduction Ideation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred
• Microsoft Office experience, including Excel
• Safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection
• SAP experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to travel to other facilities in the area
