Controller

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Controller. Our client is seeking an individual with knowledge of GAAP as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting regulations
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Manage cash flow and budgeting processes
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior management
• Supervise and train accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with accounting trends and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller or similar role
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Experience in managing a team of accounting professionals
• CPA certification is preferred but not required
