Credit Portfolio Manager

Palmer Group is partnering with our Oskaloosa-based banking client in their search for a Credit Portfolio Manager. This individual will assist the organization by working with senior leadership to maximize overall profitability regarding portfolio management. Responsibilities:

• Work with the Executive Team on commercial and ag loan structure and terms, lending loan requests through the credit approval process, and assisting with the overall portfolio management
• Provide financial analysis to maximize profitability
• Provide loan structure guidance and apply analysis assistance to mitigate risk
• Handle financial spreads and writing commercial and ag credit write-ups
• Assist with the presentation of loan requests to the Loan Committee
• Provide expertise and support in negotiating and documenting transactions with clients
• Assist with the preparation of a detailed analysis of the borrower’s financials 
• Prepare Market Studies and Annual Reviews as needed
• Participate in business development efforts with the bank staff
• Handle prospect call support and identify potential additional product needs during the underwriting

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of Commercial or Ag credit analysis experience
• Experience handling financial spreads and writing credit write-ups
• Exceptional credit and analytical skills, including loan doc review
• Highly developed communication skills
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

Work Model: 

• On-Site 
• 8:00AM – 5:00PM 
• Monday – Friday
