Our local client is looking for a Deposit Business Development Specialist to join their team directly. We are searching for a candidate who is a natural leader willing to gain knowledge. Our client targets someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a driven attitude for working in a banking sales environment. If this background interests you, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Develop banking deposit relationships with consumers and business entities around the Des Moines metro
- Develop a strong knowledge of all deposit products and services offered
- Cold call on small businesses, individuals, and public government entities
- Market and advertise deposit products and services
- Brainstorm new ways to develop new deposit business for the bank
- Act as a backup Teller to interface with bank customers
Requirements:
- Outgoing personality
- Exceptional communication skills
- Willingness to learn about deposit products and services and how to use business development skills to market to new customers
- Willingness to gain knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations
- Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment.
