Our local client is looking for a Deposit Business Development Specialist to join their team directly. We are searching for a candidate who is a natural leader willing to gain knowledge. Responsibilities:

  • Develop banking deposit relationships with consumers and business entities around the Des Moines metro
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all deposit products and services offered
  • Cold call on small businesses, individuals, and public government entities
  • Market and advertise deposit products and services
  • Brainstorm new ways to develop new deposit business for the bank
  • Act as a backup Teller to interface with bank customers

Requirements:

  • Outgoing personality
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Willingness to learn about deposit products and services and how to use business development skills to market to new customers
  • Willingness to gain knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations
  • Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment.
