A Des Moines non-profit organization seeks to add a Director of Human Resources and Risk Management due to continued growth. This Director will join the senior leadership team of a property solutions organization providing affordable housing options in an expanding geographic area. Responsibilities:
- Develop, establish and implement a framework of best practices that will serve to strengthen and improve overall organizational productivity
- Use workforce analytics to provide insight into a variety of HR topics
- Establish metrics and measurements to track and analyze all learning, talent and succession activities, employee engagement, and development
- Enhance and build on existing employee practices
- Oversee onboarding and retention initiatives and develop strategic recruitment programs
- Develop talent management plan
- Serve as liaison for employee benefits programs
- Serve as point of contact for professional and liability insurance reviews
- Establish and support risk management initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years in an HR position
- Knowledgeable in all areas of Human Resources, particularly organizational design, performance management, talent management and development practices
