Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and objectives
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of both 3-phase and 1-phase electrical systems
  • Proficient in pump/motor control using motor starters, variable frequency drives, and soft starts
  • Possess hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and the ability to program and troubleshoot them effectively
  • Ensure seamless integration of PLCs into overall control systems
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop accurate and detailed schematics
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications for project documentation and communication
  • Familiarity with Adobe software for creating and editing technical documents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a technical or engineering environment
  • In-depth knowledge of 3-phase and 1-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and automation technologies
  • Strong understanding of PLC operation, programming, and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in CAD software for electrical wiring diagrams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
