Electrical Design Engineer

Palmer Group has partnered with a local, midwestern-based client on their search for an Electrical Design Engineer. Responsibilities: 

• Review and audit construction specifications in the Master Spec
• Delegate activities and mentor less experienced staff
• Lead the electrical design of a multi-discipline project
• Review subcontractor designs for accuracy 
• Create and assemble a complete set of electrical construction documents

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in power system design
• Experience with CAD programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Proficient in Office programs and Google Workspace
• Ability to hit deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Physical work required, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and ladder use
• Ability to mentor new engineers
