An award-winning company in Eastern Iowa is searching for an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their Employee Benefits team. This role will focus on larger accounts, so experience with Human Resources Benefits and Health Insurance is a huge plus. This individual will provide excellent customer service to clients and support the sales professionals by gathering information and presenting proposals. Responsibilities:

  • Develop good working relationships with internal team and customers alike
  • Provide best in class support to sales team while assisting with formal client presentations
  • Gather appropriate information from customers to meet their needs
  • Inform clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures
  • Document electronic files accordingly
  • Fulfill client requests and process new and renewed business
  • Review policies for accuracy in coverages
  • Resolve issues on service, billing, and claims problems

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of employee benefits/HR experience
  • Experience in the Health Insurance industry preferred
  • Life, Health, and Accident licenses required upon hire
  • Impressive customer service and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a warm personality
