This Cedar Rapids manufacturer is searching for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their growing team. Responsible for a group of exceptional engineers, this position requires strong people and project management skills and a passion for mentoring others. Building trust and supporting the company’s engineering efforts to improve the product and processes will be vital in the success of this candidate.   • Manage and mentor team in all aspects of employment
  • Ensure all responsibilities of the team are met in a timely manner
  • Act as liaison between manufacturing and engineering
  • Be the voice of your team to drive engineering change processes
  • Support and encourage continuous improvement efforts
  • Drive accountability and trust throughout the organization
  • Provide life-cycle support of existing products
  • Test and qualify new technologies and components
  • Maintain the cross-functional changes request process


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (Mechanical or Agriculture preferred)
  • 5+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Heavy equipment manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Proven experience leading a team
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills


  • 8:00AM – 5:00PM 
  • Monday – Friday
