Field Service Manager

A small but quickly growing company in Cedar Rapids wants to add a Field Service Manager to its team. This position offers a really impressive leadership group with the plans to bring this person into the fold of strategic company decisions and growth plans. The main goal is to support local operations and technicians, aiming for efficiencies and operational improvements. Responsibilities: 

• Manage field service and installation teams
• Work with senior leadership to establish the direction of the business unit and increase efficiencies
• Recruit and retain talent for a solidified team
• Communicate directly with customers on needs and warranty issues
• Provide training on warranty policies, product information, and repair procedures
• Ensure proper documentation by technicians on any issues and concerns

Requirements:

• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strategic oversight of a maintenance/installation unit
• Ability to be hands-on when needed- and provide technical expertise to team members
• Define the scope of the team and create opportunities for growth moving forward
